Remote Computer Support

Some computer problems can be fixed without leaving your home. If your issue can be handled remotely, I can securely connect and help with troubleshooting, software problems, printer setup, email issues, and other Windows-based support.

Start a Remote Support Session

Please call or text me before starting a remote session so I know you are ready and can tell you which option to use. Chrome Remote Desktop is usually the easiest place to start; AnyDesk is available as an alternate option when needed.

How Remote Support Works

1

Call or text me first so we can confirm that remote support is appropriate for the problem.

2

Open the remote support option I ask you to use and follow the instructions shown on your screen.

3

Share the connection code or ID so I can securely connect.

4

I’ll troubleshoot the problem and help you get back up and running.

Problems That Can Often Be Fixed Remotely

Virus and malware troubleshooting
Email setup and account issues
Printer setup and connection problems
WiFi and network troubleshooting
Software installation and configuration
Windows errors and general troubleshooting
Please note:
Remote support works best for software and setup issues. Hardware failures, broken screens, or systems that won’t power on usually require local hands-on service. Only grant remote access after you have spoken with me directly and are expecting the connection.

Need Help Getting Started?

If you’re not sure which option to click, call or text first and I’ll walk you through the process. The goal is to make getting help simple, not frustrating.
